Please note that INREC'12 is being postponed at the request of many prospective participants who find it rather difficult to travel to the region and from within the region to attend this activity.... We will be updating this website with information on when INREC will take place shortly...
INREC'12 is the second of a planned series of biennial meetings focusing on the practical aspects of carbon-free energy forms (nuclear and renewables). The meeting covers the synergetic integration of renewable energy and nuclear engineering with electrical power production, coupling to existing power grids and the design of smart grid systems, to intelligent instrumentation and control, and monitoring of processes relevant to radiation safety and nuclear safeguards. Research work addressing other carbon-free energy forms are also welcome. Topics of interest include, but not limited to:

Prospective participants of INREC'12 are invited to submit their full papers using our TrackChair online submission system at: http://inrec12.trackchair.com. The authors should follow the guidelines posted on the conference website: http://inrec12.inrec-conf.org/default.aspx?id=submission.
Submitted papers will be peer-reviewed. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the proceedings of the INREC'12 conference. Further publication of select papers presented at the conference will be considered in one or more of reputable energy journals; INREC'10 that was successfully conducted in Amman Jordan (March 21 - 24, 2010) was approved by Taylor & Francis for a special issue of their International Journal of Sustainable Energy to publish select conference papers following a second round of peer review based on extended new version of the work; a similar arrangement was made by INREC'10 with the Nuclear Engineering and Design Journal by Elsevier. The organizing committee welcomes proposals for special sessions and tutorials/workshops to be held in conjunction with INREC'12. Please send your proposals by email to:secretariat@inrec-conf.org.
A poster session will also be organized to report latest research/project findings. Abstracts of presented posters will be compiled in a separate booklet. There will also be a best poster competition.
